nanocosmos was founded in 1998, when linear television still dominated and digital video was just emerging. The company started as an early codec business, working alongside the Fraunhofer/Heinrich Hertz Institute on video compression technology. From there, nanocosmos kept evolving: from compression pioneer to a real-time video streaming platform built for industries where streaming can't fail.
